Quakertown Borough has an extensive park system and recreational facilities. No alcohol is
permitted on Borough property.
Memorial Park
This park, on the north and south sides of Mill Street includes pavilions, a baseball stadium,
basketball courts, tennis courts, a jogging path, a bicycle path, a skating pond, and a
public swimming pool. Both Borough residents and non-residents can purchase season passes to
the Quakertown Pool. Swimming lessons are given at the pool by the YMCA. A pool pass is required
for the lessons. The pavilions in Memorial Park can be reserved for a fee of $50.00.
Reservations are taken after January 1st and can be made in the utility office.

Main Street Park
This park on the southern end of Main Street includes basketball courts, a softball field and
a playground.
Cedar Grove Park
This park is at the western end of Quakertown, off Roan Tree Drive. Its facilities include
basketball/street hockey courts and a playground.

Quakertown Swamp

Located in Richland, East Rockhill and West Rockhill Townships, in Upper Bucks County, Pa., Quakertown Swamp is a 518-acre wetland which is recognized as significant by the Pennsylvania Natural Diversity Inventory because it is a haven for a variety of wildlife species, including beaver and waterfowl. Ringing Rocks Park

This 128 acre park includes an amazing field of boulders which, when struck by a hammer or another rock, produce a hollow metallic ringing sound. The origin of the field is a mystery - neither glacial nor the result of a rock slide. Kids love visiting here. It's also the site of the largest waterfall in Bucks County.

Stover-Myers Mill Park

Stover-Myers Mill, which comprises 26 acres along the Tohickon Creek in Bedmnster Township on Dark Hollow Road and the creek in Pipersville. Originally, this mill started as a water-powered gristmill/sawmill and was later powered by steam. Owned by Jacob Stover in the early 1800's, the Stover-Myers Mill produced flour and animal feed for regional and local consumption.

VanSant Airport is the ideal place to spend an afternoon with friends or family. You can picnic under the trees and witness vintage aircraft in their original grass roots environment. Or you can strap on your helmet, put on your goggles, throw back your scarf and return to another era when biplanes and gliders abounded, and you never knew who was going to fly into Van Sant next.
The airport offers the following rides to the public: mile high or aerobatic glider rides, Piper Cub rides, Tiger Moth rides, and Stearman rides.

Washington Crossing Historic Park

Washington Crossing Historic Park was founded in 1917 to perpetuate and preserve the site from which the Continental Army crossed the Delaware River. This purpose is achieved by interpreting the historical significance of this site for thousands of Park visitors each year through tours, exhibits and various special events. The spirit of the 1776 Crossing is recreated every year on Christmas Day when the annual reenactment of Washington Crossing the Delaware takes place on December 25. In this annual reenactment the visitor can see reenactors in Continental military dress cross the river in the replica Durham boats.
