Quakertown Borough has an extensive park system and recreational facilities. No alcohol is permitted on Borough property.

Memorial Park
This park, on the north and south sides of Mill Street includes pavilions, a baseball stadium, basketball courts, tennis courts, a jogging path, a bicycle path, a skating pond, and a public swimming pool. Both Borough residents and non-residents can purchase season passes to the Quakertown Pool. Swimming lessons are given at the pool by the YMCA. A pool pass is required for the lessons. The pavilions in Memorial Park can be reserved for a fee of $50.00. Reservations are taken after January 1st and can be made in the utility office. Call the Utility office at 215-536-5001 for more information.

Main Street Park
This park on the southern end of Main Street includes basketball courts, a softball field and a playground.

Cedar Grove Park
This park is at the western end of Quakertown, off Roan Tree Drive. Its facilities include basketball/street hockey courts and a playground.

This purpose is achieved by interpreting the historical significance of this site for thousands of Park visitors each year through tours, exhibits and various special events. The spirit of the 1776 Crossing is recreated every year on Christmas Day when the annual reenactment of Washington Crossing the Delaware takes place on December 25.
